Amanda leverages her international experience in world issues and humanitarian concerns to advance the cause of organizational betterment, civic harmony and social justice in Houston and the world. Amanda is on faculty at Lone Star College where she teaches Education 1300, a course on student success. Amanda is also an expert in human trafficking, awareness and prevention.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she earned a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and a Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.
