Amanda J. Seymour, Principal
Amanda J. Seymour is an award-winning author, speaker and consultant who motivates and inspires people to live more deeply and fully in their personal and professional lives. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she earned a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and a Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Her insights on inner fulfillment are encapsulated in her recent book,The Gift.
Amanda is on faculty at Lone Star College where she teaches Education 1300, a course on student success. She has leveraged her international experience in education and travel at the World Affairs Council of Houston to advance the cause of civic harmony and social justice in Houston.
Amanda coaches clients to achieve growth and build skills for personal and professional success. Areas of expertise include leadership, relating to others well, mindfulness, happiness, confidence-building, and goal-setting for professional and personal fulfillment. Amanda helps people raise their level of productivity and personal fulfillment through one-on-one coaching and group workshops.
Stephen Mendonca, Principal
Stephen J. Mendonca is an award-winning educator and communications consultant with broad experience in technology marketing and the public sector. During his career, he has held executive positions in county government, IBM, and Compaq/HP. In these capacities, he managed global functions within multiple industry sectors, including leadership roles in e-government, education, and healthcare. He has been a keynote presenter at the United Nations, major industry conferences, and government symposia in over 20 countries.
He currently holds faculty positions at Devry University, Lone Star College, and the University of Phoenix where his overarching goal is to shape students into future leaders who are willing to embrace high standards of integrity, justice, compassionate service, and respect for human dignity. As a writer, speaker, and strategist, his focus is on 21st century thought leadership, lifelong learning, and mindset transformation. His areas of academic specialization are philosophy, literature, communications, and the humanities. He is the author of Instant Advantage: Winning Strategies for the Online Economy, which paved the way to ground-breaking roles in developing e-government and e-learning practices for industry. He has published numerous scholarly articles as well as a volume of poetry called Epiphany (2015).
